Riders start the 1st day of the New Year off by giving back to the needy. Several different groups and indipendent riders gather from all over the surrounding counties to come out and support the Onslow County Annual Polar Bear Ride each year which helps out the Onslow Community Soup Kitchen and raise money for CMA's Run for the Son missions outreach....
During the evening of Monday, December 10, Onslow County Schools collected money for Christmas Cheer at an area McDonalds.  In addition 20% of sales that evening benefit the Christmas Cheer program.  This annual event is organized and publicized by Onslow County Schools and is a huge help each year to the Christmas Cheer program.
Onslow County Christmas Cheer is low on donations but high on applications this year.
