Working Title: Shelter Support Attendant
Case Management is a collaborative process of assessment, planning, facilitation, care coordination, evaluation and advocacy for options and services to meet an individual's and families comprehensive needs through communication and available resources to promote self-sufficiency. This position is a renewable grant-funded position from January 2021 to December 2021. The work schedule is 30 hours per week.
The primary function of the Shelter Support Attendant is to assist shelter and housing services staff with administrative duties and other office tasks. You can find the complete job description here.
Duties include facilitating phone calls and messages, greeting visitors on arrival, completing forms and reports, participating in outreach activities, ensuring Covid-19 protocols are followed, and entering information in various databases, particularly the Homeless Management Information System.
Qualifications include the ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally, ability to multi-task, ability to answer multi-line phone system and ability to become proficient in a cloud-based information technology system.
